Entry Requirements

Applicants are required to meet one of the following criteria with a competitive result, and demonstrate that they fulfil any prerequisite requirements and essential requirements for admission:

Recent secondary education:

Meet any prerequisite requirements with a minimum grade of C- or equivalent and

Complete secondary qualifications equivalent to SACE, or

Complete the International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum score of 24 points

or

Higher education study

Complete or partly complete a recognized higher education program at a recognized higher education institution

or

Complete at least four Open Universities Australia (OUA) courses at undergraduate level or above

OR

Vocational Education and Training (VET)

Complete an award from a registered training organization at Certificate IV or above

or

Work and life experience

Hold completed secondary qualifications equivalent to SACE obtained more than 2 years in the past

English language requirements:

IELTS score of 6.0; TOEFL iBT score of 60 with Reading and Writing not less than 18; TOEFL paper-based test (PBT) score of 550 with TWE of 4.5; iBT score of 60 with Reading and Writing not less than 18; Cambridge CAE/CPE score of 169; Pearson's test of English (Academic) (PTE) score of 50 with Reading and Writing communicative scores not less than 50; CELUSA score of AE4.

Course Details

From day one of your degree you will progress through a series of property courses covering the physical, economic, planning and legal aspects of property as well as specialist areas including property valuation, agency and management and property funds management.

This degree is the longest-running specialised undergraduate property degree in Australia. It is accredited in Australia and internationally by:

  • the Australian Property Institute (API)
  • Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
  • the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers in Malaysia

This degree is dynamic and its program structure is informed by industry and latest practical research in the field. Therefore, as a graduate you will be equipped with the knowledge and skill required by the industry.

You can also get practical experience through an experiential elective or participate in a business simulation project.

As a part of this degree, you can also participate in an investigative study tour learning about business practices, finance sector as well as political and cultural influences in other regions.

You will study a three-year bachelor's degree and a one-year master’s degree (typically two years) in four years by using your undergraduate courses or electives.

What you'll learn:

The degree starts with core courses in areas such as analytics, accounting and economic theory. These will give you a solid grasp of business fundamentals that you can apply to a range of careers.
