Entry Requirements

Admission to all undergraduate courses offered by UBSS at AQF Level 7 (Bachelor degree) and above, including the Bachelor of Accounting, require the completion of:

Overseas university qualifications at the level of Bachelor degree or higher
International Baccalaureate with a mark comparable to an ATAR of 67.95 or higher, completed in the previous three (3) years

We also consider applications submitted by working professionals who do not meet the relevant educational requirements, providing you can show proof of relevant work and life experience.

Applicants who have not completed at least the NSW HSC or VCE (or their equivalent in Australia), or an AQF Level 5 qualification in Australia or a country where English is the first language, must prove adequate English language proficiency.

English language proficiency by obtaining a minimum:

IELTS score of 6.0; or

TOEFL Test of Written English (TWE) score of 550 with a writing score of 5; or TOEFL (Computer-based) score of 213; or

TOEFL (Internet-based) score of 80; or

Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) grade of B; or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) grade of C; or

Pearson Test of English (Academic: PTE) score of 54

The UBSS Bachelor of Accounting is comprised of twenty-four (24) core subjects, designed to be completed over a three-year period, with fast-track, two-year options available. Pathway options are also available, including entry and exit opportunities through an Associate Degree or Diploma of Accounting.
