Entry Requirements

Year 11 SACE Program

Successful completion of AIS SACE Preparatory Program; OR Successful completion of Year 10 level of secondary studies with good achievement.

Academic IELTS 5.0 overall (no band lower the 4.5) or equivalent (International students only)

Year 12 SACE Program

Successful completion of SACE Stage 1 or other Australian Year 11 studies OR International applicants where the previous study is recognised for the SACE program.
Academic IELTS 5.5 overall (no band lower than 5.0) or equivalent. (International students only)

Course Details

Year 11 SACE Program

Year 11 at AIS consists of a range of academic and engaging subjects from the wide range of SACE subjects available to students. Year 11 is the first stage of senior schooling in South Australia. It is the aim of this year of study for students to show their agency in choosing subjects, engaging in academic and action-based learning, and gaining strong self-efficacy.

Year 11 subjects are a combination of compulsory and elective learning leading students to be well-rounded members of the global community.

The compulsory SACE subjects in Stage 1 are:

The elective SACE subjects in Stage 1 vary according to student choice.

Year 12 SACE Program

Your final year of schooling is an important and considered choice.

Year 12 studies at AIS is completed in our CBD site well equipped for a settled and conscientious pre-university course of study.

Students are supported through their final year journey with wellbeing tutors and house pastoral care. Specialist careers expertise is used to assist students applying to university and in other ways that students use to progress their education or enter the workforce.
